Accessibility statement
We want everyone who uses CAE CRM, and everyone who fills in a business's form or signs its quote, to be able to do so easily. This statement explains how accessible the service is and how to tell us about problems.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
In practice, this means:
- you can use pages with a keyboard alone, and focus is always visible;
- pages use proper headings, labels and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate them;
- text and controls have strong colour contrast, in both the light and the dark look;
- pages work at any width, from a phone to a large monitor, and when zoomed in;
- movement and animation stop if you've asked your device to reduce motion;
- form errors say what went wrong and how to fix it, next to the field concerned;
- pages don't depend on colour alone to show meaning.
What we know isn't right yet
- CAE CRM hasn't yet been tested by an independent accessibility auditor. [to confirm: date of the first audit, once booked]
- Charts show their key figures as text alongside them, but a screen reader can't yet explore each point on a chart.
- PDFs of invoices and quotes aren't yet tagged for screen readers. The same details are available on the page.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email [to confirm: privacy and legal contact email]. Tell us the page and what happened. We'll reply within 5 working days.
